A major narrative I picked up from my religious upbringing is that people who really put God first won’t get too mixed up in politics, and won’t trust science more than spiritual knowledge or the Word.
Life is designed to let us learn from our past, not to be trapped by it.
Masculinity itself is not toxic. But gendered violence and increasing male loneliness should spark conversation and action about how we define it.
I’m suggesting that 2019 can be a year of slowly building sustainable habits instead of trying to flip a switch by sheer willpower.
